SHOULD YOU NEED FOR ANY REASON, HERE ARE THE LOCATIONS OF THE UTILITY MAIN SWITCHES AND SHUT-OFFS, PLUS INTERCOM INSTRUCTIONS:

Electricity breaker box ~ on the wall behind the front door, under the chalkboard; in case of a power outage (possibly due to using too many electrical appliances at once) check the breaker box

Gas ~ on the wall outside apartment door (just down the 9 steps to the landing, behind the metal cabinet door)

Water ~ downstairs underneath the mailboxes; ours is the bottom valve marked “Angelini”

Intercom ~ you will hear a phone ringing in the apartment; the intercom (phone) is on the wall next to the front door; when it rings, answer to see who is at the building door downstairs; to let them in, push the button on the lower left part of the “phone” base

**there is also a second buzzer for the front door; it will sound more like a bell/buzzer; to open the building door for this one, press the button to the far right on the wall below the phone intercom ~ you may want to look out the window before letting someone in the building this way
